The job of being a motion picture stills photographer must be a blast. A job that, sometimes gives you unlimited access to the actors, fabulous locations and the heady world of glamour and spectacle. A job where one day, you could get lucky and get the opportunity take, what could be the 'ICONIC IMAGE' for a film. The one photograph, that captures the star in the right pose, with the right light, at the right time. . On the other hand, you could be the studio photographer working on Hammer Films 1971 'COUNTESS DRACULA'. These snaps from a contact sheet from the one of Ingrid Pitt's best, display a certain 'eye' for a shot. One wonders what the photographer was thinking, when he framed this photograph. Yep, 'Countess Dracula'. A motion picture with 'Animal Passions'. Creatures with 'Ample Breasts'! Whatever way you look at it, ...it ain't good. I don't suppose the goat was too happy either....
